Education

Dr. Wu received his B.S. degree on optical electronic Technology from Haerbing Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1995, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees on physical electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively.

Work experience

Associate Professor, 2004 to present, Department of electronic engineering , Shanghai Jiao Tong University;
Assistant Professor, 2003-2004, Department of electronic engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University;
Post-doctoral fellow, 2001 – 2003, The State Key Laboratory on Fiber-Optic Local Area Communication Networks and Advanced Optical Communication Systems, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Research

His main research interest includes photonic analog to digital convertor, fiber optic time and frequency transfer, and all optical switching networks. His research has been supported by NSFC, 863 program, and so on.
