On the afternoon of Jan. 2^nd of the year 2013, the school of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering (SEIEE) held the democratic life meeting of a Party Committee. Litao Lin, the vice minister of the school Organization Department, presented this meeting. And the crew of SEIEE Party Committee as well as the chief members in the offices of the various functions participated this meeting. The meeting was held by Ansheng Zhang, the secretary of the Party Committee of SEIEE.

 

 

At the beginning of this meeting, the secretary of the Party Committee of SEIEE Ansheng Zhang made a detailed review and objective evaluation to the participants according to the implementation status of the democratic life of SEIEE in the last year. He fully confirmed the successes achieved by the SEIEE in the last year, which were ascribed to the solidarity among the members and the unification of the objection, the responsibility and the pursuance. Focused on the remain questions and bottleneck restraining the development of SEIEE, he pointed out that the learning and self-recognizing of leader members are not sufficient, their senses of urgency and crisis are lacked, and the Party’s Style and anti-corruption and the institutionalization and standardization buildings of the middle-level leaders need to be improved. In respect to the consideration on the next work, he emphasized to enhance the senses of crisis, urgency and fate, focus on the leading group construction targeting ‘have an ambitious ideal,  take the responsibility, be good at working, be righteous and honesty’, and keep the teaching stuff construction as the core. Besides, secretary Zhang expected the more highlight changes in the aspects of building huge team and contenting significant demands, hoped for the new step on the standardization management of department leading group, and looked forward to the improvement on the construction of ideological and cultural connotations, thereby to deeply promote the activities of increasing popularity, complying with the wishes of the people, and building the hearts.

 

The Executive Vice-President Junfa Mao fully confirmed the performance of the leading group of SEIEE on solidarity and cooperation, implementation dynamics and uncorrupted honest. Meanwhile he said frankly that the group as well as the individuals still needs to be improved in the aspects of pioneering and keeping forward ahead, services awareness, seeking resources and so on, and they have to strive to making a breakthrough on staying on top of the overall situation, setting a clear goal and external development.

 

Later, the members of various leading groups of SEIEE analyzed and concluded one by one according to their work, and further thought over their following work plans.

 

In the meeting, after carefully listening to everyone’s presentation, the Vice-Minister Litao Lin enunciated that SEIEE plays an important role in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This meeting was much accounted of by the leaders of the school. The SEIEE leading group highlighted the aspects of unifying thoughts, seeking differences and improving work atmosphere. And the members made a frank exchange of ideas and had a strong sense of calling. Moreover, Vice-Minister Lin suggested that in the future democratic life meetings, participants should talk more about self-improve to avoid replacing speaking of idea by speaking of work.

 

In the final part, secretary Ansheng Zhang emphasized that SEIEE has to exert self features, explore the most reasonable mechanism, keep the carrying out as the working kernel on the brain, actively looking for the reasons of problems and finding the solutions. So and so only, we can meet the difficulty in the new year and steadily achieve the work objectives of SEIEE.
