课程内容简介(Course Introduction):

Description: this course is the advanced analog integrated circuit design for the Graduate students of the microelectronics.

Teaching goals: through more depth simulation based on integrated circuit design, curriculum implementation and operation of specific design project, and practical ability cultivation of students innovative thinking ability, to lay the foundation for the training of the postgraduate stage.

教学大纲(Course Teaching Outline):

Fundamental of CMOS process: 4 hours

Basic single stage amplifiers: 4 hours

Voltage references and Current References: 6 hours

Feedback and stability: 6 hours

Noise of analog circuits: 6 hours

The OPAMP: 10 hours

Comparators: 6 hours

ADCs and DACs: 6 hours

Project: full-differential two-stage Opamp design

课程进度计划(Course Schedule):

Lecture: The first 8 weeks, two lectures per week, two hours each lecture.

The last 8 weeks: One lecture per week for two hours.

Laboratory: Eight times in total, 2 hours each time.

课程考核要求(Course Assessment Requirements)

Classroom based, experimental courses and group assignments. Mainly on the basic principles of classroom teaching, basic concepts, test course Cadence platform mainly focused on analog integrated circuit design process explained to them. A group project to develop students' capacity for independent innovation, and lay the Foundation for future graduates.

Exercise classes and class discussion focuses on training students to think independently and the ability to analyze and solve problems.

Group work training the comprehensive ability of the students: the ability to use what they have learned, gathering and refining information skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, etc.

Final score from the usual class and homework assignments, group work, final exam portfolio. The proportion of each part are as follows:

Assignments and classroom performance: 20%. Basically assesses mastery of the basics, classroom participation and enthusiasm.

Assignments and report of the Panel discussion: 40%. Main assessment problem analysis, problem solving and team working skills.
