课程内容简介(Course Introduction):

This course is designed for Ph. D. students in electromagnetic fields and microwave techniques and some other majors related. In this course, we will focus on new progresses in modern antenna theories and design technologies. The contents of this course include: (1) Radio and antenna fundamental knowledge, (2) Linear antenna theory, design and its applications, (3) Microstrip antenna theory, design and its applications, (4) Dielectric resonator antenna and millimeter- wave applications, (5) Aperture antenna theory, design and its applications, (6) Wave guide slot antenna and substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) antenna, (7) UWB antennas and UWB arrays, (8) Multi-band antennas and reconfigurable antennas, (9) Electromagnetic field numerical methods, antenna design and measurement.
