Research

(1) Invent the CADLL multipath mitigation algorithm, which achieves 0.1 chips near multipath mitigation and greater than 90% multipath error cancellation capabilities. This algorithm improves the positioning accuracy 20% over the traditional methods through the on-field tests in multipath adverse environments.
(2) Research different navigation satellite orbits urban multipath channels. Discover that the multipath delay in urban environments follows Gamma distribution. Propose for the first time the multipath life-time concept which is used to reflect the property of a multipath from its appearance to extinction.
(3) Design the first new navigation test system based on real database. This system supports all satellite frequency signal recording and playback. Signal carrier-to-noise ratio loss is lower than 0.5dB and playback consistency is greater than 90%. This system has been used in many companies’ product design.
