Research

Dr. Tao’s research is in the area of wireless communications and networks. She is particularly interested in problems of design, analysis and optimization related to physical layer (PHY) and interaction among PHY and upper layers in wireless communication networks. Her current research interests include: cooperative and relay communications, physical layer network coding; interference networks; wireless resource allocation and physical layer security.
