2 Young SEIEE Teachers Win Outstanding Paper Award and Scholar

“Delay and Capacity Tradeoff Analysis for Motioncast,”a joint paper by Xinbing Wang and his students won in the 3rd IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific’s Outstanding Paper Award. Established in 2012, the purpose of the award is to encourage Asia-pacific scholars to publish their papers in the IEEE Communications Society’ Journal and influence writing of original articles for international conferences. The winning paper out of three outstanding submissions this year was the only one from Mainland China.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Associate Professor Zhu Haojin from SEIEE was presented the 2014 IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Young Researcher Award issued by the IEEE ComSoc of Asia Pacific Technical Affair Committee. The award was set up to honor outstanding young researchers in the past three years within the communication field , which is also a blue ribbon award for under 35 year-old researchers in Asia-pacific by IEEE ComSoc. Every year, it chooses 4-6 outstanding young researchers and is now on its 9th year since 2001.
