The Seventh SEIEE Electric Shock Forum as Advocates of PRP and College Students' Innovation Projects Held

6:30 pm on March 29, With the SEEIE building 3 # -100 packed and lively scene, the seventh electric shock Forum of SEIEE jointly organized by the School of Undergraduate Academic Office and Student Science and Technology Association was convened. The theme of the forum is seeking for the stage developing scientific practical ability - Reporting and implementation of PRP and college students' innovation projects, aiming at present the method to undergraduates.

 

Xuming Song, deputy secretary of Youth League committee welcomed and thanked the guests arrived, then introduced to the students the achieved excellent results of PRP project in the past from his own experience leading his team participating in the "Challenge Cup" , he called on the students to participate in the PRP project actively.

 

Shumin Zhang, Director of the School Office of Academic Affairs Office of the practice teaching gave a detailed account of the three step-by-step platform built by the Academic Office for the students to develop research and practical ability: summer college internship, the PRP project and college students' innovation projects, and showed the results over the years.



 

Yizhen Gao, teacher of Undergraduate Academic Office lectured on "why and how" of innovation projects lively, shared the previous participants in the PRP project and their stories with students, then gave recommendations and advices on the reporting.

 

Xiaofeng Gao, the outstanding instructor of the PRP project specified the time to participate, the general process, as well as how to communicate effectively with the project mentor. She pointed out that participation in the PRP project would sacrifice holiday time inevitable and needed a lot of effort, but the pay would worth it.

 

At last, representatives of the students participated in the project shared their own experiences and feelings, combined with their own participation in the practical experience of the the PRP or college students' innovation projects, and put forward a number of practical recommendations.
