INSA Lyon’s Vice President Visits SEIEE

In the afternoon of Feb 27, INSA Lyon’s vice president of international affairs, Dr. Marie-Pierre Favre and two of her colleagues visited the School of Electronic Information & Electrical Engineering (SEIEE) at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). The dean of SEIEE, Prof. Mao Junfa and the vice dean of Human Resources & International Affairs, Prof. Liu Hui warmly received the French guests.

INSA Lyon is ranked No.1 among science and technology universities in France. Their Diploma of Engineering certificate is one of the most appreciated master degree certificate in France and also in the world, officially recognized as Master of Science by USA government.

 

SEIEE never stops its steps to improve their teaching and research facilities, with four degree programs in English - two for undergraduate, one for master and one for PhD students, SEIEE is now providing more friendly environment for international students.

 

SEIEE and INSA Lyon have long and success history of cooperation over four ongoing programs including the dual-master-degree program, the semester-exchange program, the Specific Program of Engineering in Telecommunications (SPE-T) and the summer program.  Both sides not only actively exchanged ideas and comments on these programs but also reached a common understanding on strengthening the exiting cooperation and the development of other potential collaborations.

 

In the evening, Dr. Favre and her colleagues gave an introduction to SJTU students about this year’s summer program at the information session taken place in the auditorium SEIEE-3#200. This program is entering in its fourth consecutive year and had won excellent feedback from the participants. The INSA Lyon delegation concluded its visit to SEIEE after the information session completed successfully.
