1、 Postgraduates who meet one of the following conditions may apply for transfer to supervisor:

1) The supervisor is unable to perform the guidance duties due to long-term going abroad, illness or resignation;

2) Other situations related to the supervisor.

2、 Postgraduates who meet one of the following conditions may apply for major transfer:

1) The major they studied was suspended;

2) The development of this major;

3) Other reasons.

3、 In principle, applications for major transfer under the following circumstances shall not be approved

1) There are failing courses in the personal training plan;

2) Key training links such as qualification examination, opening report and mid-term examination were not passed.

4、 Postgraduates applying for transfer of supervisor or major should be conducted one semester after enrollment and one semester before the expiration of their basic study period. The procedures are as follows:

Transferring Supervisor Inside the Same Major

1. Get permission from original supervisor

2. Find new supervisor will accept you get his or her permission

3. Make application online log into digital SJTU my.sjtu.edu.cn

4. Through service hall------graduate student------Application to      Change Supervisor

5. Fill online and wait for the review by your former supervisor      and new supervisor and your department deputy dean.

【转导师／转专业】Transferring Major and Supervisor inside SEIEE

1. Get permission from original supervisor

2. Find suitable and matching new supervisor and major by      yourself and get permission from your new supervisor who will accept you

3.Make application online log into digital SJTU my.sjtu.edu.cn Fill general information

4.Wait for both original and new supervisor review

5. wait for the new department arrange the interview for you

6. when you pass the interview the academic teacher will upload the interview result in the system.
