Annual assessment for doctoral students

1. Annual assessment time:

 After completing the thesis thesis proposal, the doctoral students will be assessed annually according to the natural year. Those who have started the thesis for more than six months should take part in the annual assessment.

 

2. Annual assessment contents:

 The doctoral students should fill annual progress report for doctoral, which describes in detail the progress of this year's thesis research and the phased achievements, and submit it to the assessment team in written form.

 

3. Annual assessment organization:

Each department shall organize an annual report assessment team of at least 3 persons, which is attended by the supervisor or the person in charge of the research group, to evaluate the annual progress report of doctoral students. Supervisors should make a comprehensive evaluation of the annual progress report, and urge graduate students carry out research and dissertation writing.

 

The assessment group shall fill in the assessment group's argumentation opinions and assessment results; Members of the assessment team and the team leader shall sign in the assessment form. For those who fail to pass the annual assessment, the assessment team will make suggestions on "turning to master training" or "dropping out" based on the academic assessment.

 

4. Annual assessment process:

 

1) Students fill in annual progress report for doctoral (download standard template)

 

2) Students apply in "My Digital Jiaotong University" my.sjtu.edu.cn, through service hall----graduate------PHD annual report, and upload the filled annual progress report for doctoral into the system;

 

3) The academic affairs teacher completes the preliminary review of the Department;

 

4) Supervisor review and input secretary in the system;

 

5) Annual assessment arrangement: the Secretary downloads the annual progress review form of doctoral students in digital SJTU system, and enters the annual assessment arrangement into the system( If the secretary miss the download in this link, can enter the result in the "done items" link and click to withdraw to the annual progress schedule.)

 

6) Take Annual assessment;

 

7)Input annual assessment results;

The Secretary enters the annual evaluation opinions, uploads the annual progress report review form of doctoral students with complete signature, and inputs the information of expert group personnel, etc.

 

8)The department reviews and confirms the assessment conclusion;

 

9) Department review;

 

10)The academic affairs teacher completes the online filing;

 

11)The academic affairs teacher counts the abnormal students in the annual assessment, and cooperates with the student office to carry out academic warning.
