On March 4th, Vice President Li Shaoyuan of SEIEE and other staff members from different undergraduate offices attended a seminar on undergraduate studies held in Room 3-208. Also in attendance was other teaching staff from related offices.
All the heads of the academic offices present had an intense discussion on items including the promotion of IEEE pilot classes, international acceleration of the undergraduate classes, enrollment of students in IEEE subjects, heavy teaching load for teachers, expanding English subjects contents, among others.
In the end they decided on some resolutions such as adjusting the IEEE pilot subjects, optimizing teaching resources, enhancing undergraduate English teaching, and the like.
