The News Photography Skills Lecture was successfully held last Oct. 24, 2014 at SEIEE 3-208, which is part of an ongoing lecture-series at SEIEE. Speaker Du Xin, a journalist of the University’s Propaganda Department, was the contract photographer from Xinhua News Agency. The attendees were teachers in charge of publicity, as well as administrative staff and students from the Youth League.

Teacher Du elaborated on the character of news photography and showed before and after notices from his professional point of view. He presented how to take the excellent pictures using virtual illustrations and solutions to photography.

In the lecture, teachers and students paid attention and took notes. Everyone enjoyed the lecture and hoped that the school could host other similar lectures to improve on the different skills of all staff members.
